At Empire Dental Clinics, (Nyali, Buxton Point Mombasa and Parklands – Nairobi), our focus on preventive aims is to maintain and prolong a lasting healthy smile. In case the tooth is un-restorable and non-functional, it is indicated for removal. Unfortunately, there are cases when tooth extraction is the only viable treatment option in order to maintain the overall oral health of the patient.

Our highly experienced and respected clinicians can quickly identify the need for a wisdom tooth removal. After a clinical and radiographical examination, using onsite Orthopantomogram or if needed a sectional 3D scan of the region, an appropriate treatment plan can be established.

We carry out tooth removal under local anesthetic, explaining the full process to you before any treatment takes place, how long treatment is expected to take. Extraction is performed by luxating and gently widening the tooth socket, and gradually elevating the tooth, in order to remove it.

Our highly skilled and knowledgeable team will carefully and painlessly remove problematic teeth that cannot be saved. Using one of two methods. For teeth that are fully emerged above the gum line, we can perform a simple extraction. In the event that a tooth isn’t fully above the gum line, a surgical extraction is likely needed instead.
